Apalus Hair Straightening brush Review – Is it the best ?

When I’m standing in the mirror with my best friend, she always laughs at my attempts to straighten my curly hair, because regardless of what I do, it always turns out looking stiff and has that near “crunchy” look. If you have naturally curly hair and you have tried to straighten it before, you probably know what I’m talking about. Long story short, one day, my best friend pulled out an Apalus Hair Straightening Brush and from that moment on, I fell head over heels for it.

Before I recommend this hair straightening brush to you, I believe it is only fair that you learn about it so that you can determine whether it would be a viable option for you or not.

Apalus Hair Straightening Brush Features

  • LED display
  • Detangling Brush + Anion Hair Massager + Ceramic Iron Straightener
  • Instant Recovery
  • Auto Shut-Off Protection (sixty minutes)
  • Anti-Scald design
  • Max Heat: 450 degrees F
  • Great for all hair types
  • Insulated inner sleeve

The First Impression

When I first used this brush, I noticed how quickly it heated up to the correct operating temperature. On the back of the brush, you’ll find an easy-to-read LCD screen that you can look at in order to tell the temperature of the brush.

When you first use it, so that you can see what it’s all about and adjust to it properly, you may want to set it at its lowest setting, which is 365 degrees F. This will give you the opportunity to see how your hair is going to react to the brush. In merely sixty seconds, it should reach the operating temperature.

At first, I thought the brush would be heavy, but it really isn’t. It is made of plastic and doesn’t consist of metal plats (like the normal straightening irons on the market).

The bristles are made from a plastic type of material, so really, there’s nothing to weigh the brush down. This means you can put it in your purse along with the items you use on a daily basis.

Before and After using Apalus

The Technical Points

If you’re like me, you despise short cords, especially when it comes to doing your hair. The cord on this brush is pretty long, and many like the fact that it even rotates 360 degrees at the part where it enters the brush. Why is this good? Because this means there’s no more tangled cords!

This brush gets very hot (450 degrees F). I believe 450 degrees F is the hottest setting for styling products currently on the market.

When it comes to the operating voltage, it supports 110-220V. If you plan on using this straightener during international travel, you will need a plug adapter.

The auto shut off is one of the best features of this model. If you accidentally leave it on, it will turn itself off.

This model is available in two colors – pink and black.

The Safety

First of all, I am going to start with the safety because I personally believe safety should be a main concern when your beautiful hair is involved. The Apalus hair brush straightener isn’t going to burn you – it’s safe and easy to use. In fact, it’s so safe to use, I would let me daughter use it. The temperature Is kept constant and due to the anti-scald design, it is merely impossible to burn your fingers, let alone your hair.

What Others are Saying

At the time of writing this review, on Amazon, there were a total of 3,057 reviewers giving this product a total of 3.6 stars out of a possible 5.0 stars. With phrases such as “this product really does work,” and “it even works on super curly hair,” it is obvious that many people are satisfied with this product. One reviewer complained about the rubber tips pulling her hair, but there are so many others that claim it is comfortable to use.
